Faith Endures

Friday, February 27th, 2009

Faith is describe in the dictionary as belief, confidence, trust, security, and in keeping faith is describe as having obligation, verbal pledge, word of honor, promise, and loyalty. Let’s look into the Bible and see what faith really is and how faith is accomplish. Look at 2Chronicles 20:20 it says Early in the morning they left for the Desert of Tekoa. As they set out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Listen to me, Judah and people of Jesrusalem! Have faith in the Lord your God and you will be upheld; have faith in his prophets and you will be successful. After consulting the people, Jehoshaphat appointed men to sing to the Lord and praise him for the splendor of his holiness as they went out at the head of the army, saying; Give thanks to the Lord, for his love endures forever.

Look in Habakkuk 2:1 The Lord answer habakkuk’s complaint it says Then the Lord replied: Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that herald may run with it. For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay. See, he is puffed up; his desires are not uprightbut the righteous will live by faithindeed, wine betrays him; he is arrogant and never at rest.

Now look a Matthew 9:27 it says As Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed him, calling out, “Have mercy on us, Son of David!” When he had gone indoors, the blind men came to him, and he asked them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” “Yes, Lord they replied. Then he touched their eyes and said, According to your faith will it be done to you; and their sight was restored.

Look at Matthew 17:19 it says Then the disciples came to Jesus in private and asked, “Why couldn’t we drive it out?” He replied, “Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, Move from here to there and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.

Now look at Mark 11:22 it says “Have faith in God.” Jesus answered, I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, Go, throw yourself into the sea, and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. And when you stand praying if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.

Look at Luke 12:27 it says Consider how the lilies grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today, and tomorrow it thrown into the fire, how much more will he clothe you, O you of little faith! And do not set your heart on what you will eat or drink; do not worry about it. For the pagan world runs after all such things, and your Father knows that you need them. But seek his kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well. Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom. Sell your possessions and give to the poor. Provide purses for yourselves that will not wear out, a treasure in heaven that will not be exhausted, where no thief comes near and no moth destroys. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Now look at Romans 1:16 it says I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes; for the Jew, then for the Gentile. For in the gospel a righteousness form God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from the first to last, just as it is written; The righteous will live by faith.

Now look at Romans 10:12 it says For there is no difference between Jew and Gentilethe same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, for, Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. How, then can they call on the one they have not believed in?
And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And can how can they preach unless they are sent. As it is written, How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news! Now look at verse 17 it says Consequently, faith comes form hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ.

Look at Romans 14:22 it says So whatever you believe about these things keep between yourself and God. Blessed is the man who does not condemn himself by what he approves. But the man who has doubts is condemned if he eats, because his eating is not from faith; and everything that does not come from faith is sin.

Now look at 2Corinthians 13:5 it says Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in youunless, of course, you fail the test? And I trust that you will discover that we have not failed the test. Now we pray to God that you will not do anything wrong. Not that people will see that we have stood the test but that you will do what is right even though we may seem to have failed. For we cannot do anything against the truth, but only for the truth.

Look at Hebrews 11:1 it says Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. This is what the ancients were commended for. By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.

Now look at 1Peter 1:3 it says Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fadekept in heaven for you, who through faith are shielded by God’ power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time. In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trails. These have come so that your faithof greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by firemay be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.

Look at 2Peter 1:5 it says For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

In closing look at 1Corinthians 16:13 it says Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be men of courage; be strong. Do everything in love.

How To Give Up What You Have To Get What You Want

Thursday, February 26th, 2009

I discovered that sometimes we have to give up what we have in order to get what we want. Change is painful. It causes stomach churning. The simple truth is that usually it is “fear of the unknown” that causes us to have anxiety attacks. What if we fail and are worse off than we are right now? What if my idea is stupid? What if? That is a lot of fear.

After all those thoughts we are totally disillusioned and don’t do anything with our
dreams. I discovered that once I identified the obstacles preventing me from
reaching my goals I could take charge and manage my fears. Then I could begin to
feel the joy of success in my life and you can too.

There are four obstacles that can prevent you from getting what you want. Identify
the ones that might be stopping you from making a positive change in your life.
Once you have an awareness you CAN change if you want to.

1. Fear of losing your security. It is difficult to give up a good paying job
to start your own business. Yet, people start small businesses everyday. If you
want more than you have it sometimes means giving up what you have now for
something better. Many people stay on jobs longer than they should. I know I
have. They are bored and unhappy. You may need to let go of what you already
have in order to give yourself a better future. You may have to spend money to
make more money. You may have less money while you are building a business.

Once you are aware that losing your security is preventing you from making a
change, you can take the steps necessary to make the change for your success.
Decide how important it is to you to change. Look to the future. If you make this
change will you be happier, have more money eventually, more power or whatever is
your desire for your future. Write down the positive things that will happen if you
change and write down a course of action: Identify the tasks needed to reach your
goal and do one of them every day. Acknowledge to yourself that you can give up
what you have in order to get what you want.

2. Fear of Failure. This is a big problem for many of us. We don’t start
anything risky (even though we really want to) because we are afraid we will fail. Or
maybe someone else told us it was too risky and not to do it. I had such a bad
experience in the 9th Grade speaking in front of the student body that I avoided
speaking opportunities for the next 20 years. It was only when I lost a promotion to
a colleague who was a good speaker that I was motivated to overcome my fear of
speaking to a group. I took a Dale Carnegie® course and became a confident
speaker. I practiced, practiced, practiced. I learned that the only way to overcome a
fear is to do it. If you have a fear that is preventing you from achieving the success
you want, then you must confront the fear and do it. This will happen to you when
you have a motivating factor like I did to overcome my fear of speaking.

3. Self-Doubt. If you have any kind of doubt in your mind about what you
are doing, you may not achieve that particular goal. You must be committed to
your goal. My self-doubt usually comes when someone else puts doubt in my mind.
“Are you sure you want to do that?” they say. Or the famous statement, “It hasn’t
been done like that before.” Don’t take negative comments personally. It takes a
strong belief in yourself but you can do it. Always state your goals and dreams in a
positive way. Keep your self-esteem high especially around others. “Fake it ’til you
make it,” is a popular mind trick to do. One thing I discovered is that people
believed in me before I did! It is important to put your goals in writing and know
them well. Allow no one to discourage you. When you feel self-doubt creeping in,
say positive affirmations to yourself and call a friend or buddy to give you words of
encouragement.

4. Change is Painful. It is much easier to keep things the way they are than
to go through the pain of change. We remember painful past events and don’t want
to go through them again, such as we were hurt by a relationship so we don’t want
to commit again to another person. Or when I decided to never speak again
because of my 9th grade speaking fiasco. Who suffers the most when we aren’t
willing to change? We do. We do not learn and grow. We must move with the
times. We must change when it is to our advantage.

Success comes with change. Enjoy your life more by accepting change as a
necessary part of life. Change is good. Change is challenging. Change is growth.
Change today means you have what you want tomorrow.

Genetic Genealogy Research

Wednesday, February 25th, 2009

The completion of the human genome sequencing project was the first step in allowing scientists to unravel the secrets contained in our DNA. Further over the past few years DNA testing has become affordable and easy to do. This has spawned the practice of performing DNA testing for Genealogical purposes which is called Genetic Genealogy.

One of the first genetic genealogy studies was conducted in the late 1980s by scientists with the Department of Biochemistry at the University of California, Berkeley. These scientists Rebecca L. Cann, Mark Stoneking and Allan C. Wilson studied a newly discovered kind of DNA. Mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) is contained not in the nucleus of our cell, but in the mitochondria organelles of our cells. These scientists chose to study Mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) because of its three unique properties which they explain as:

First, mtDNA gives a magnified view of the diversity present in the human gene pool, because mutations accumulate in this DNA several times faster than in the nucleus. Second, because mtDNA is inherited maternally and does not recombine, it is a tool for relating individuals to one another. Third, there are about 1016 mtDNA molecules within a typical human and they are usually identical to one another (Cann 31).

They extracted and compared mtDNA from “147 people, drawn from five geographic populations” (Cann 31). The researchers discovered that “All these mitochondrial DNAs stem from one woman who is postulated to have lived about 200,000 years ago, probably in Africa” (Cann 31). Their findings also agree with the archaeology record as Cann explains “Studies of mtDNA suggest a view of how, where and when modern humans arose that fits with one interpretation of evidence from ancient human bones and tools” (36).

Swedish researchers Max Ingman, Henrik Kaessmann, Svante Paabo and Ulf Gyllensten critical of these findings conducted their own study in 2000. They claimed that “almost all studies of human evolution based on mtDNA sequencing have been confined to the control region, which constitutes less than 7% of the mitochondrial genome” (Ingman 708). Further they argued that the prior methods of analysis where “providing data that are ill suited to estimations of mutation rate and therefore the timing of evolutionary events” (Ingman 708). So they decided to study the complete mtDNA sequence from 53 people of various races.

Surprisingly their attempt to discredit the previous research failed as they also came to roughly the same conclusions. They conceded to the likely hood of a common ancestor shared by all the subjects despite being “geographically unrelated” (Ingman 712). They estimated “The age of the most recent common ancestor (MRCA) for mtDNA, on the basis of the maximum distance between two humans…to be 171,500″ (Ingman 712) instead of the earlier estimate of 200,000 years ago. But they refused to align their findings with archeologists by stating “Whether the ancestors of these six extant lineages originally came from a specific geographic region is not possible to determine” (Ingman 712). Lastly they agreed on the potential of genetic genealogy by summarizing:

Our results indicate that the field of mitochondrial population genomics will provide a rich source of genetic information for evolutionary studies. Nevertheless, mtDNA is only one locus and only reflects the genetic history of females. For a balanced view, a combination of genetic systems is required. With the human genome project reaching fruition, the ease by which such data may be generated will increase, providing us with an evermore detailed understanding of our genetic history (Ingman 712).

Their call for a more balanced view was shortly answered because in 2000 a team of researchers from the Department of Genetics at Stanford University lead by Peter A. Underhill published their results of studying Y-chromosome DNA. Only males have the Y-chromosome which has unique properties as explained by Underhill:

Binary polymorphisms associated with the non-recombining region of the human Y chromosome (NRY) preserve the paternal genetic legacy of our species that has persisted to the present, permitting inference of human evolution, population affinity and demographic history (358).

Their report was based upon “the analysis of 1062 globally representative individuals” (Underhill 358). They concluded that the subjects “represent the descendants of the most ancestral patrilineages of anatomically modern humans that left Africa between 35,000 and 89,000 years ago” (Underhill 358).

So far genetic genealogy research has focused on these two kinds of DNA. As mentioned previously mtDNA is passed along the maternal line and Y-Chromosome DNA is passed along the paternal line. These two kinds of DNA effectively encompass all of our ancestors. Yet they provide no information about our ancestors inside the encompassed area. For example our maternal grandfather (mother’s father) couldn’t contribute any mtDNA or Y-Chromosome DNA to our mother. Yet he did contribute a third type of DNA called autosomal DNA. This type of DNA has yet to be studied for Genetic Genealogy purposes because of its inherent difficulties.

The main reason autosomal DNA is just now being studied is because scientists aren’t sure how to determine which autosomal DNA came from mom and which came from dad without testing one or both of our parents. This situation is illustrated by the mathematical equation X = Xm/2 + Xd/2 where our autosomal DNA (X) is half of our mom’s (Xm/2) and half of our dad’s (Xd/2). By testing ourselves we identify our autosomal DNA but can’t determine which part came from mom or dad. Additionally testing one of our parents is necessary to determine exactly which parent contributed which part of our autosomal DNA. This type of testing is currently used for Paternity and near relationship testing. But quickly becomes impractical after a few generations because of the difficulty of obtaining DNA samples from probably deceased ancestors.

Conclusion

Genetic Genealogy is the science of analyzing DNA for genealogical purposes. Studies have shown that we all stem from a common female and male ancestor. Because this emerging science is so new, benefits of this research are still being identified. Currently I believe Genetic Genealogy offers three categories of benefits.

First is entertainment value. Finding out you’re related to famous people like George Washington, Julius Caesar or Genghis Khan is just plain fun. Imagine the bragging rights and small-talk fodder this provides at social gatherings.

Second is scientific value. Current studies have corroborated other scientific findings such as the human archaeological record. Medical sciences will benefit from correlating DNA studies with family genealogies to isolate hereditary diseases.

Third is relatedness value. Finding out you’re related to a wealthy individual like Bill Gates may entail a financial windfall. Most importantly of all is the ability to reunite families. Millions of displaced war torn families and adopted children can now turn to Genetic Genealogy to find their relatives.

Troubleshooting Your Dish Network Receiver

Wednesday, February 25th, 2009

It has happened to all of us. It’s fourth and ten with just 1:42
to go in the second half – and of course your team is down. The
weather outside is getting worse and worse. Suddenly, the image
on your TV looks eerily like the snow falling outside your
window. It is a race against the game clock to get picture back
on your TV before you have to resign and just look for the score
on the evening news.

Remember, only on a rare occasion will you lose picture with
Dish Network – when you do, more often than not, there is
nothing wrong with your equipment or the service. This article
discusses some of the easiest and fastest ways to troubleshoot
your Dish Network receiver.

From High in the Sky to Your
Dish Network Receiver

Dish Network uploads programming to its satellites via gigantic
transmission stations on earth. The digital image travels upward
through the atmosphere where it eventually finds satellites
orbiting the Earth miles above the United States. Those
satellites capture and resend the digital signal in such a way
that nearly everyone with a plain view of the sky can receive
it. The signal is collected by the ubiquitous mini-dishes and
sent through cables to your Dish Network receiver, which is set
up to decode and convert the digital signal to a viewable
picture. That viewable picture is transferred to your brand-new,
56 inch widescreen plasma TV, where only moments ago you were
watching the second half of your favorite team’s football
game.

The Game Plan

If you suddenly lose picture on your TV, the problem could be in
any one of six places – but before you panic, let me tell you
you’re only going to have to check four of
them.

  • The Dish - If something interferes with
the signal getting from the satellite down to your dish the
picture is obviously going to suffer. If the signal is
completely blocked, your picture will disappear. Make sure that
there is nothing between your dish and where your dish is
pointing in the sky. This could include: a tree branch, your
motor home, your neighbor’s motor home, a build-up of snow, ice,
or excessive water on the dish, or anything else you could
possibly imagine. Luckily, the solution is simple. Get the
signal flowing freely back to your Dish Network receiver by
removing the obstruction. Of course, if the obstruction is your
neighbor’s prize winning oak tree, be judicious as you
contemplate ways of removing it (i.e. talk to her about it and
figure out a solution together). If it is ice or snow just wipe
the dish clean, and you’ll be back to your game before they even
    snap the ball.

  • The Cables and Connections - The wiring and
connecting pieces that carry the signal from the dish to your
Dish Network receiver could also be part of the problem. It is
unlikely that the image will suddenly cut out on you, especially
in the fourth quarter, if the wiring is bad. The easiest way to
test this is to ensure that the integrity of the cables is still
intact and that all of the connections are tight. If you are
still not getting picture to your television, try plugging the
cables into another TV, or routing the picture through your VCR.
If you still have no football game, try using different cables.
If the picture comes back at any time while you are doing this,
you’ve honed in on where the problem is and you can go about
fixing it… after the game, of course.

  • Your Dish Network Receiver - On a very rare occasion,
your receiver may stop receiving or decoding the signal
properly. To fix this, simply unplug the receiver for 30 seconds
and then plug it back in. (Don’t worry – 1:42 can last anywhere
from 5 to 30 minutes at the end of a football game.) You can
also try taking the programming card out of the receiver and
then putting it back in again. Both of these steps help reset
the receiver, and it should start functioning properly again as
soon as you turn it back on.

  • Your New Plasma TV - I’m no expert on troubleshooting
TVs that cost more than my car, but checking the cables and
connections is never a bad thing. A word of advice from one who
has been there and done that – make sure the back of your huge,
heavy television is readily accessible. The only thing that will
make you more angry than missing the miracle comeback of your
favorite team in that game you are missing, is dropping that
massive television on your toes as your were breaking your back
moving it out from the wall.

The good news is your team came back from behind and won. The
better news is you read this article and were able to watch it
live. The best news is you kept your cool and because your wife
was so impressed with the way you handled the whole situation,
she bought you a pool table.

Digital Photos and Photo Enlargement – How To Get The Best Results

Tuesday, February 24th, 2009

As I travel around the Web reading various information on the correct methods for enlarging digital photos, I am amazed at the variety of advise that is out there. Although the best methods for digital photo enlargement can greatly depend on the types of software used in processing the original photo and the printer, and printer software, there are a few basics that should be followed no matter what system is used.

The main issue with maintaining original image quality when enlarging digital photos is to resample or interpolate the original image only when absolutely necessary. I know that common knowledge says that you need an input file resolution of 300dpi for quality prints, but this is just not necessarily so. When you resample a digital photo to artificially boost file resolution, the image pixels are rebuilt, averaging the image data between pixels to produce the new image file. The resulting image file is degraded in the process. The greater the parameters of the resampling, the greater the degrading of the image.

If you are using an image editor program like Photoshop to size your digital photo, first resize the photo to the target print size with the “resample” box unchecked. Using the original image resolution from the camera, this may or may not drop the image dpi below what you may consider sufficient for a good quality print. Depending on your print setup and system, I would try an input ppi of as small as 100. Print one and see what you think. The printer will reprocess the file to the resolution of the printer in most cases.

The second basic for quality digital photo enlargements is do not sharpen the image file until after the file has been enlarged to the target print size. Sharpening the file has the same effect on the pixels as resampling, and will cause the image to get an “edgy” or very slightly pixelated look if done before the photo is at the target size. Always use the “unsharp mask” method of sharpening and experiment a bit with settings while watching the actual effect on the photo elements. Oversharpening will also create an “edgy” image.

Photo enlargement of digital photos can be a somewhat complicated thing if you are using very advanced softwares and image processing programs. Of couse utilizing these programs will yield results that are unmatched by the average digital imager. You can get very good digital photo enlargements using your image editing software and desktop or medium format printer. Just be careful not to “overproduce” the input file.

Prostatic Well-being – with Herbal Remedies

Tuesday, February 24th, 2009

BPH, or benign prostate hyperplasia, is a medical term for an enlarged prostate. In layman’s terms this actually means that the prostate, a mass which wraps around the urethra and is situated beneath the bladder, grows bigger and can impair and even stop urinary flow. As males age, their prostatic gland grows and can create symptoms such as urination problems, a weak stream, and also a feeling of fullness in the bladder after micturition. Frequent nighttime urination and repeated urinary tract inflammation may also be result from prostatic engorgement. What Is Benign Prostate Hyperplasia?

Benign Prostate Hyperplasia is thought to be a commonplace condition of men over 60. It is advocated that males in their 50’s be examined by their physicians annually, even if no problems are noticed, to aid in maintaining better prostatic wellness. Get medical intervention immediately if blood appears in the urine or you are unable to urinate. Treatments for an enlarged prostate can be surgery and the use of drugs. However, erectile difficulties and even incontinence may be experienced after a surgical operation. An alpha blocker and medicines that reduce the prostate gland may also be given for better prostate health, however, medicines often result in negative results. What holistic choices are recommended?

Prostate Gland Enlargment Symptoms? A Holistic Way to Reach Improve Prostatic Health

To encourage improved prostate gland health and in addition avoid any problems brought on by prostatic enlargement, various holistic therapies will improve the symptoms. Superior Snowfall All over Europe

Tuesday, February 17th, 2009

There has been almost 2 metres snow in the last 7 days. The snow has been so deep that lifts have been shut, the funicular was stopped at Chamonix and not going onwards to Argentiere. Several roads were shut and avalanche announcements published.

Contrast this to a couple of winter seasons past, when there was the incredibly mild Feb conditions, mud showing on pistes, and reports that climate change would mean the end of the ski industry in Europe. The study from 2005 warned that climate change would make snowboarding far too pricey for many snowboarders, with one third of skiing resorts becoming insolvent and the thawing of glaciers. Climatologists say that it is virtually impossible to assign the annual deviations in the snow to the off shoots of global warming.

So we could have the deepest downturn in nearly 30 years, and the Pound Sterling has dropped to more levels versus the euro, but the skiing is great, and the last bookings highlight that skiers are enthusiastic to take of advantage of the fine skiing conditions with our ski accommodation taken. It is certainly the finest in nine winters, and many are stating its the nicest ski snowboarding conditions in at least 10 winters.

Notwithstanding recollect that snow like this means big risks of avalanche.

Using Earth4Energy Alternative Energy Sources to save Money

Sunday, February 15th, 2009

Living off the grid with renewable energy is a concept more and more people are contemplating nowadays, and this trend is set to grow as a result of the looming energy crisis. For too long has man exploited the use of fossil fuels and this unwavering dependency has of course resulted in our resources fast approaching total depletion. On the other hand, solar energy, wind energy and hydro energy are all forms of renewable energy which can be used endlessly with any risk of depletion.

To learn more about how you can save money from using Alternative Energy Sources, read the Earth4Energy Review.

Solar energy: Anyone who wants to cut back on their electricity bills should consider using solar energy in their homes. Not only will it save you money but you’ll be helping to make the world a cleaner place. Being the most plentiful source of energy known to man, solar energy can be used to power dryers, heaters, lighting, cookers and even cooling systems.

While the sun as been used for centuries to provide light and heat, modern technology allows us to make use of solar energy in an ever increasing number of ways.

Apart from solar energy systems being environment-friendly and economically viable, they also have other noticeable benefits. For example, one doesn’t have to wait very long in order to see returns from your initial investment. Additionally, solar energy systems are for the most part undemanding in terms of maintenance and when one considers the health benefits associated with solar energy cooking, it’s hardly surprising that more and more families are putting solar energy to work for them in their homes.

Hydro energy: Also commonly known as water energy, this is a highly effective means of energy with a large range of uses and applications. Interestingly enough, hydro energy is said to account for approximately 90% of all renewable energy produced in the world today, as it is, for the most part, only produced on a large scale.

While hydro energy does supply vast amounts of renewable energy, many environmentalists argue that it’s not totally environment friendly as it can have undesirable effects on water life.

Wind energy: We’re all familiar with windmills and it’s hardly surprising considering they’ve been around for hundreds of years already, although it was not until the birth of industrialization that they were used to generate electricity.

Windmills and modern day wind driven turbines are capable of generating a phenomenal amount of power, essentially making it possible to do away with grid supplied power altogether. Because of this huge potential, it’s widely accepted that wind energy will play a pivotal role in the future of renewable energy.

Living off the grid with renewable energy is a very real possibility if you turn to solar power or wind power as an alternative energy source.

If Earth4Energy is a scam? You decide.

I Wouldn’t Change a Thing

CHAPTER ONE: From Riches to Rags:

When I look back upon my life in this round of the soulful experience I have enjoyed so much; there are many things that seem almost too good to be true. I have chosen to be a very unusual ‘bird’ or a weird duck to be sure. I was blessed by being taught the Joy of Learning before I went to school at the age of four. It also seems I was always in the last year of getting into courses or schools before one needed to be older or have more education. Thus the only grades I skipped in schools were Kindergarten and my B. A. I would have skipped many others if they allowed this while I was attending school. I could have tested out of Grade Thirteen when I was eleven years old and I probably would have gotten a higher mark than I did. In fact I could have tested out of a B.A. at that juncture and I was usually able to argue against what was being taught as historical fact better than the teachers. This book is a personal biographical account to some degree and I will have to tout my own horn a lot; while explaining what might appear to be insane actions such as giving my all for mankind and life on earth rather than pursuing the materialistic ‘get yours’ paradigm.

Here is a response of mine to someone on a website called Mind-Brain.com regarding the 2004 Presidential debates or campaigns.

‘It is nave to think that ‘more of the same’ will lead to change – for sure. That is why we need leaders. Asoka did it and he was highly successful, but in the Euro-Centric reality of what now runs the world and has ever since the Trojan War for most of this planet – no there are no examples of anything other than what you say.

So again I say – who is trying to make any real change – neither of these guys – that is certain.

Now, Dan – can you address the many important points I have raised and why there is no discussion about them? I may be nave as you say – but I don’t keep my head under some pile of poop like the ostrich that is kept in an enclosed pen and has no other way to judge his reality. We are not going to exist as a species if this continues. I found it almost humorous how they suggested Putin is doing anything more than the US media moguls (read Rothschild paladins) have already done in terms of media concentration under totalitarian control.

And maybe that is as it should be – because man has shown over and over again that he is not really interested in making the world a better place for himself or his women and children, much less the other beautiful lifeforms we share this planet with.’

And I guess you need to see those questions that I listed. I could have listed a thousand similar questions to be certain. It is depressing to see how great things could be and yet none of our leaders is talking about what could put an end to constant war and the ‘get yours’ power-mongering mentality. Here are some of the REAL issues that are not being addressed.

1. Who will get the life-extending genetic enhancements that will extend life potential to 900 by the year 2070?

2. Who will own space and get the benefit of man’s collective and tax based support of space colonization which could make everyone a millionaire?

3. What is SDI really for – see Kucinich’s tabled Bill.

4. Why does the Fed and IMF (etc.) get to determine the economic reality for all nations including those listed in the War on Terra that do not belong to the World Bank or have Central Banks?

5. Should corporate and churchly behemoths have more rights than individuals (dare I also say nations) – see Chomsky. What entitles them to seek tax free and other enhanced status offshore while shelving technology that would empower all people in the world to compete?

6. Why do Congressional and Senate people who did not read the WTO {World Trade Agreements that Ralph Nader proved none had read and yet they voted on it.} not spend time in jail?

7. How can DARPA be headed up by a known criminal?

8. How can Kissinger avoid warrants from the World Court?

9. Who determined the NWO plan spoken about by Woolsey and Bennett (George I too) that makes all nations have to answer to the 900 pound gorilla?

10. Do corporations and religions that own the media have far too much influence – other lobbyist issues that grow worse all the time?

So how did I get to be such a ‘weirdo’? Why would a person who succeeded in most everything and who was a self-made millionaire before the age of thirty choose to live in the worst conditions society in Canada can devise? Maybe it won’t interest too many people and it surely won’t get published by any mainstream publisher. Heck I have so many great and well-researched books that expose the paradigm, and real knowledgeable people who agree with me are often saying things like ‘No way you’ll get a major publisher to promote this.’ But you need to see some more of what happens when I try to get people to face these issues. The Dan person is a supposed physicist and he called my points ‘paranoid’ after the earlier comment about me being nave. Here is my response to that well-reasoned and thoroughly compassionate remark.

‘Dear Dan

Ignorance is bliss. None of the points is unsubstantiated and you are simply unaware.

Paranoia includes ‘projection’ and you are a master of that as well as an admitted sufferer of depression which also is part of the complex – so maybe you know that aspect of what you are talking about.

I gave you an example of one peaceful leader and you take it to an extreme when you say if it ever existed it would still exist. This simplistic and largely untrue premise behind Hobbes, Fukayama and other social engineers is the propaganda you and most idiots who do not study history are caught up in.

Your kind are the reason that we can have good leaders who might want change and yet they cannot succeed or are burned at the stake – do you want a list of those kinds of leaders or visionaries? Have you ever reached outside your thoroughly negative walls of hatred and pubescent ego to try – probably you did – and were stomped into the state you call life. Sorry – I am not up for such fearful paranoia – and yes, FEAR is what motivates most of those who will think that the US foreign policy has any factual basis at all. Fear of losing the two cars in the garage because they do not know what technology could do and how great a potential there is to make the world a better place – if only people would stop killing and start planning for something real rather than all that paranoia that Bushco and Bonesmen are promoting.’

Then a person made a real response that tells a lot of truth.

It is the response of a Professor of Political Science. The world trembles as the future beckons.

“What answers are being denied you? None. You just don’t like the answers and don’t want to face the real world.

1. Who will get the life-extending genetic enhancements that will extend life potential to 900 by the year 2070?

Powerful people mostly in the advanced countries. Partly good (we certainly don’t need 900 yr lifespans in starvations zones) and partly bad (more of us non-powerfuls deserve it than they do)

2. Who will own space and get the benefit of man’s collective and tax based support of space colonization which could make everyone a millionaire?

Two different questions. The first: the USA, more or less. That’s good. Second, there is no “man’s collective tax base”. Anyway, if everyone was a millionaire, being a millionaire wouldn’t mean anything. What a dunce-like statememt.

3. What is SDI really for?

USA etc. domination of the world system– SHs and NKs could ideally be nipped the bud long before they fester. That’s good.

4. Why does the Fed and IMF (etc.) get to determine the economic reality for all nations including those listed in the War on Terra that do not belong to the World Bank or have Central Banks?

Because they have all the money. Money is pretty important in economic reality. Here’s a heart-breaking revelation for you: Banks control your economic reality, too.

5. Should corporate and churchly behemoths have more rights than individuals (dare I also say nations) Ceteris paribis, no. What entitles them to seek tax free and other enhanced status offshore while shelving technology that would empower all people in the world to compete? Economic clout and property rights (if it’s their tech, it’s their tech.)

Why would they want to empower the competition?

6. Why do Congressional and Senate people who did not read the WTO not spend time in jail?

Not reading is a crime? Not “reading” the WTO? That doesn’t make sense.

7. How can DARPA be headed up by a known criminal?

Who’s the criminal? DARPA can be headed by anyone who’s appt.

8. How can Kissinger avoid warrants from the World Court?

Same way that you avoid warrants from the Goose Neck Vigilante Club. He is a US citizen/former official and the US doesn’t recognize the “World Court” as a legitimate body. Kidnapping is a crime the US recognizes, tho.

9. Who determined the NWO plan spoken about by Woolsey and Bennett (George I too) that makes all nations have to answer to the 900 pound gorilla?

A bunch of concerned Anglo-Saxons who still figure they’ve repeatedly won the right to basically govern the world– 1815, 1919, 1945, 1991, etc. And we’re the better off for it, by all apparent measures.

10. Do corporations and religions that own the media have far too much influence – other lobbyist issues that grow worse all the time?

Yes. But the fact that they have more influence than nutcases is a good thing.”

I never was politically correct to say the least. And if we were to talk about politics you might think I was an elitist despite the fact that I gave up the materialistic world I had been a millionaire in at least twice. Living in a group home and working to make the people and system a little better at the grossest and lowest level doesn’t sound like the act of an elitist but I am well aware of the pitfalls of socialistic bureaucracy. I am also getting to see the extent of waste and destructive victimization of victims in the hands of the people who are always saying more money is needed to address the homeless or mental health community. Here is another response to a thread on the Delphi Oracles which may help set the stage for the nature of what knowledge I am now cursed with.

Do you think the Delphi Oracles were responsible for a quantum leap?

Yes, social engineering and a focus on some thought or stable system has cultural impacts as Mumford showed they helped achieve – though the Athenian School and sages were more effective in that regard. But in reality the Intellectual and spiritual systems such as Michael Grant notes were the major influence through the millennium before Christ are (like the oracles) part of a more ancient tradition – so no leap occurred other than the Hellenizing plagiarization that is reflected in our propagandized history.

A more relevant exploration would be the formation that occurred in this period – of all religions now with us. Fukayama calls them ‘absolute religions’ and C. S. Lewis or Merton call them ‘higher religions’. The era of the 6th Century BCE and Confucius, Buddha and Zoroaster are all derived from the same people or schools of thought. These schools of thought had been reorganized by Tuthmosis in the millennium before that according to many. This is around the time of Moses/Akhenaten. But long before that these schools helped more people find their true role in soul and with the ‘collective’.

Plato observed that the advent of a writing alphabet greatly diminished the disciplined pursuit of knowledge or wisdom. Once people could simply refer to books they did not interiorize this knowledge. That occurred around the same time that Tuthmosis reorganized the Mystery Schools and was part of a Phoenician (Hyksos) plan for society as I see it.

The crux of the Kabbalists or Rabbinical ‘twisting’ of Qabala has much to do with this in our laws, structures of society and in the ethereal world around us.

And in case anyone thinks I regard it as healthy to look back on your life and say something as stupid as the title of this book suggests – I do not. I would love to have the chance to do many things differently and yet in the final analysis I might never have gotten the blessings I have and I would probably not have enjoyed life more. I regard the fulfillment of one’s potential and ethical purpose higher than I regard most all else in life. It is that perspective that leads me to title this book as I have. The fact that I could not handle the wealth I had at various times in my life is an indication that I am not as advanced as I would have liked to have been.
